Changes are a coming

It must be a mid life crisis, the good kind.
I have fallen in love with my life as is all over again
but better yet, my life yet to come.
I am more fit at 46 then I was at 16.
Well, I like to think so.
But one thing is for certain
I have increased my ability to do pullups from
uhmmm, none
to eight x3 on a good day!

Love the Weekend

What's not to love about the weekend?

I usually sleep in (weekdays I get up at 4:20am) which feels divine.
I enjoy breakfast leisurely.
I wander off to the club for a WO which pumps me up for the day.
I catch up on reading or studies.
I find time to spend with my Lord.
and...
I do what I do best...
Just be me, mommy, & wife to the 3 boys whom I adore!

Times Like These

It's been one of those weeks,
Crazy things happening all around me.
Given the obstacles placed,
My choice is to rise above it.
Deal with it,
Move forward in trust.

In utter disbelief, I think: 'How could this be?'
Realizing I have no control over the world around me..
I only control my thoughts, words, & actions.

I choose to follow in faith.
I choose to live like a child of God.
I choose love.

In His love I fear no evil. 
In His love I feel secure.
In Him.
